A free one day conference for renewable energy project developers to gather information on the six key areas of project development: grid connection; planning; finance; contracts; construction and green certificates.
The purpose of the event is to provide a comprehensive overview of the issues that a project developer may encounter whilst undertaking a renewable energy project. The information day will ensure renewable energy project developers have a grasp of all the important issues that could influence the success of their project. As well as providing a theoretical context to the main issues, case study presentations will be used to balance theory with on the ground experience.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The event will provide valuable information for project developers from both the public and private sector. The event will focus on project development issues for projects larger than 50kW.
OBJECTIVES OF THE EVENT
The information day will:
• provide project developers with information on the key components of renewable energy projects; • stimulate networking between project developers in the region, enabling them to share best practice; and • allow project developers to learn from the experience of others through case studies and networking.
The event is strictly by invitation only with pre event registration essential. To receive an invitation, please contact Jemma Benson at Future Energy Yorkshire by email Jemma.benson@fey.org.uk or telephone 0113 237 8422.
